Safeguarding our children
We hold the safeguarding and well-being of our pupils as a priority. Please see our policies and documents below. You can visit https://hcypsp.haltonsafeguarding.co.uk/ for further safeguarding information.
The school’s designated person for Safeguarding and Child Protection is Mrs Edwards, and the deputy designated person is Mrs Morgan.
Our school is also part of a project, which is run between Halton Borough Council schools and Cheshire Police. This project called Operation Encompass, has been designed to provide early reporting of any domestic violence incidents that occur outside school, which might have an impact on a child in school. This is done through a phone call to our school’s Key Adult (Mrs V Edwards). This will begin on 4th January 2016.

Online safety – The internet often plays a huge part in many young people’s daily activities; allowing them to communicate freely with others and share information with ease via messaging apps, social media and gaming networks.
